UWC Short Courses are intended to spread the UWC message to young people who do not have the opportunity to attend a College. The participants work actively with the ideals of UWC through the means of discussion, action and service.

Welcome to the United World College Short Course Graduate Network Homepage. Since 1987 the UWC Short Course has been changing the lives of young people all over Europe, the Middle East and beyond. Courses encompassing such diverse subjects as Conflict Resolution, Marine Biology, Eco-tourism and Leadership have greatly influenced many of the students, helping them to develop a more global view of the issues relevant to our times. Lifelong friendships have been formed and annual reunions have lead to the continued growth and development of our Network and its activities. The Short Course spirit has a special place in all our hearts and in these pages we hope to convey to you some of the things that have shaped our lives.
The WebPages consist of two separate parts. The first part called "Tell me more about the SC" is designed to inform you about the many activities you can expect to encounter on a UWC Short Course. The second part called "Short Course Memories" is more informal and consists of many more photographs, songs, poems and stories as well as written articles detailing what made each particular Short Course unique. Indeed every Short Course is unique, no two people experience the exact same thing, though all experience a bond that goes far beyond the two to three weeks over which they are together. The Short Course has inspired us as individuals and as a group, and we hope that you will experience our energy and enthusiasm in these pages.
